Three downtown San Jose buildings evacuated because of bomb threat

Three county court buildings in downtown San Jose were evacuated yesterday morning because of a bomb threat.
A suspicious package was found in the Family Court building, but it was not a bomb.
After the all-clear was given, business resumed at the administrative offices, known as the Community Towers.
However, the Family Court calendar was canceled for the rest of the day.
As a precaution, all 11 courthouses in the county were swept for potential explosives because the threat did not name a specific court building.
