 The (26-14-5) San Jose Sharks will be in Edmonton tonight to play the lowly Oilers.
The team is coming off a 4-3 loss to Vancouver on Saturday.

 The San Francisco 49ers (13-3, 1-1) lost a gut-wrenching 20-17 overtime classic to the New York Giants at Candlestick Park.
The championship game loss ended an improbable run in Jim Harbaugh's first year as head coach.
The Oakland Raiders ended the season 8-8.

 The Spartans finished up a 5-7 season with their first win at Fresno State since 1987.

 Cal and Stanford ended their seasons with tough bowl losses.
The Cardinal fell 41-38 to 3rd ranked Oklahoma State in Overtime at the Fiesta Bowl and the Golden Bears fell 21-10 to Texas in the Holiday Bowl.

 The San Jose Earthquakes 2011 season is over. The Quakes went 8-12-14 and finished 7th in the Western Conference.
