STONED MOON PROJECT


The Cantor Arts Center will host a groundbreaking 20th Century artist's take on the Apollo space missions. Robert Rauschenberg's 'Stoned Moon project' features his impressions of the Apollo 11 mission, and is a characteristic mix of lithographs, collages and drawings. The exhibit runs through March 16th. PHOTOGRAPHY AND INHERITED HISTORY IN INDIA


The San Jose Museum of Arts lunchtime lectures series continues on March 4th with "Postdate: Photography and Inherited History in India". SPAMALOT!


Catch some of Monty Python's craziness in "Spamalot!". San Jose's Bellarmine College Prep presents the musical based on the film "Monty Python and the Holy Grail". PLANTING YOUR SPRING GARDEN

ASTEROIDS THAT THREATEN EARTH


Is there an asteroid with Earth's name on it? Former NASA astronaut Dr. Ed Liu will discuss "Asteroids That Threaten Earth" in an astronomy lecture at Los Altos Hills' Foothill College March 4th. Liu is a dormer NASA astronaut and CEO of the 'Sentinel Mission', dedicated to finding asteroids headed towards our planet. To learn more call 650-949-7888.

AUDOBON DRAWINGS


Filoli House will feature rare drawings of birds by John James Audobon. The renderings were made between 1827 and 1838, and are considered some of the finest, and most detailed, ever made. PHOTOSHOP EXHIBIT


Its become a hallmark of the computer age, and its celebrating an anniversary. Mountain View's Computer History Museum will feature a history, and demonstrations of Photoshop on its 25th anniversary. TET FESTIVAL



Celebrate the Vietnamese New Year's Festival of Tet with a two day celebration at San Jose's history park on February 28th and March 1st. The festival's theme will be the 40th anniversary of the journey of many in the community from Vietnam to America.
